Nice small ice cream place in Gainesville, not too far from University of Florida. Decent ice cream work limited flavors. They have a variety of ice cream types though, including concrete style, shakes, floats, sundaes, as well as soft serve. Parking is limited.

Ecstatic to find a carvel store location here in town! The best soft serve hands down. They have rotating flavors (not sure how often they change them) and always chocolate and vanilla. Pricing has gone WAY up and portions getting smaller so unfortunately won’t be coming as often anymore. Also the service has been awful lately! Employees are not kind or friendly at all

Good friendly service. Plenty of toppings to pick from and also a great selection of their famous ice cream cakes. I love this place I totally recommend it for your sweet snacks and cravings

All these years of living in Gainesville, did not know that there was a Carvel store. I came across it yesterday and after lunch today decided to come and try some ice cream. was so so good. Friendly staff. I love the look of the restaurant. Has that Carvel Look to it, good lighting. The menus are easy to read. If you love soft serve ice cream, they do have some traditional ice cream in the cooler as well. But Carvel is known for its soft serve. I highly recommend it.

Been waiting for this place to open! Carvel was my ice cream spot when I was a little kid in New York! It was delicious! If you haven’t tried it, definitely give it a try!
